On the Road Again- Just Can’t Wait for that Thanksgiving Travel Traffic!
The TV & Internet have already begun showing the long lines of vehicles on the roadways, luggage dragging families in the airports, and even the lines at bus & train stations this Thanksgiving week. This is a huge reason I almost always have Thanksgiving at my house. As much as I dread getting up at 5am on a day off to throw the bird in the oven and prepare to stand in a hot kitchen for 10 hours while others eat, drink, watch football, and be merry…. I dislike sitting in traffic and crowds even more.
But for all you brave folks out there that are hitting the roadways, skies, rails this week; here are a few tips from the American Red Cross to make it a safe trip.
